Wendy Wyre arrived at the bar fifteen minutes before Vivian. She knew that her friend would likely be late as she hadn’t been intending to go out in the first place and Wendy had suggested it at the last minute. She had been friends with Vivian for a long time and had received a text from her earlier that it was on! She and her husband had been planning to have a threesome with someone for a while, but Vivian was nervous about it. Apparently the stars had aligned and she had managed to make it happen. Wendy wanted all the sordid details, or at least as many as Vivian was willing to share. And what better place to tell the details than a crowded bar? It would likely be loud enough that they wouldn’t be overheard particularly and maybe Wendy would get to pick up a guy.

The one thing in the world Wendy loved the most was wrestling. Not just any kind of wrestling either but wrestling nude. She loved the feeling of her naked body being held down by a guy. She equally liked being the one doing the holding. It was often viewed as a strange preference and something most guys didn’t really understand, in her experience. It was also nerve wracking to bring it up to someone and see how they felt about it. But it was a risk she was willing to take to find a good person to fool around with. It was satisfying to find someone willing. She just hadn’t found anyone who was willing to do it and stick around with her.

Being single didn’t bother her though. It gave her the freedom to do what (or who) she wanted whenever she wanted. There seemed to be a plethora of guys willing to have one night stands or short flings, anyway. She had even attempted to get involved in the online dating scene, but it hadn’t really clicked for her. So instead she hung around bars and picked up guys. It worked often enough to be worthwhile. She couldn’t always go to the same bar or she would eventually run out of guys but she frequented enough local bars to know many of the bartenders and she received good service. When she sidled up to the bar at Joe’s Tavern, the bartender was there almost instantly.

“What can I get for you? Wendy, right?” He remembered!

“Yes, Wendy.” She looked over his shoulder at what was on draft and ordered a Cider. He brought it over within seconds. “Thanks,” she said.

“No problem, would you like a menu?”

“No thanks,” she said and he smiled and wandered off to attend to his other customers.

She didn’t have to wait too long before Vivian walked into the bar. She looked hot. She was wearing a little black dress. Every woman should have a little black dress in her closet, or so her grandmother had always told her. Vivian’s dress fell to just above her knees. The skirt was flared out and the top was low cut. It had a halter top so her back would be bare if she turned around. Wendy took a mental inventor of her own attire. She was built similarly to Vivian but she had chosen to wear jeans. She wore heels like Vivian though, both of them adding a good three inches to their height. Wendy topped her jeans off with a light sweater that was low cut in the front to reveal her ample cleavage.

“Hey!” Vivian called practically in Wendy’s ear.

“Hey!” Wendy said back. Now that they were close together, they could talk more freely. There was a DJ in the next room but this room wasn’t too loud. “So, how was it?”

“It was good,” Vivian said, as though that was all she was going to say.

“That’s it!?”

“What?” Vivian asked blushing.

“I want details. Hot, sexy details.”

“Like what?” Vivian asked.

“Like, everything. Come on!” Wendy knew she was practically whining now but she really wanted to know how it went.

“I don’t know,” Vivian was blushing and looking down, refusing to make eye contact. She didn’t even realize that the bartender was standing there waiting for her to order something. “Oh!” she started when she realized that he was standing there.

“Can I get something for you?”

“Sure,” she said. “A margarita.”

“No problem,” he said and he wandered off to make her drink. Wendy noticed he wasn’t quite as quick with Vivian’s as he had been with hers, but Wendy’s had been a quick pour anyway.

“So…” Wendy prompted again. “You can’t leave me hanging like this, Viv, you have to tell me how it went.”

“It was good. It was hot. I enjoyed it.”

“No jealousy?”

“No, no jealousy. Not really.”

“Really?” Wendy was amazed. To have a threesome with her husband and his exgirlfriend sounded like it would be a disaster waiting to happen. Though, considering Wendy had never had a husband, maybe she just didn’t know what that would be like anyway.

“Really. I love Uri and Uri loves me.”

“Did he fuck her?” Wendy practically whispered the question.

“Yes,” Vivian replied, “and I licked his cum out of her pussy.”

“Oh my god,” Wendy could feel her pussy get slick with desire. She hadn’t expected the story to turn her on so much. She really had no particular reason to think that it would. She didn’t really have a thing for threesomes, not that she would turn one down.

A guy swung up onto the seat next to Wendy and her heart sank. She would never get Vivian to talk about her threesome now! This guy would ruin the whole conversation. She was grumpy about the stranger sitting next to her until she got a good look at him. He was gorgeous. Not handsome. Not attractive. Straight up gorgeous. She glanced at his finger–no ring. How was that even possible? She wondered. Seriously, this guy was amazing looking. Broad shoulders, muscles practically showing through his T-shirt. His jeans were snug but they weren’t skinny jeans. He was wearing cowboy boots. And his hair. Oh his hair. It made Wendy want to moan out loud as she ran her fingers through it, but she made a great effort not to.

“Hi,” he said when he caught her staring at him.

“Hi,” she replied.

He held out his hand to shake hers.

“I’m Wendy,” she replied with a shy smile. She was suddenly feeling very coy.

“Nice to meet you, Wendy, and you are…” his voice trailed off as he asked the implied question to Vivian.

“Vivian,” she said.

“Nice to meet you as well,” he said, but Wendy noticed that he had seen the wedding ring on Vivian’s finger and his attention had strayed back to Wendy pretty quickly. “I hope I’m not interrupting.” Wendy noticed that he hadn’t given his name. Was that odd?

“Not at all,” Wendy said quickly, even though he absolutely was interrupting. Wendy could feel Vivian’s gaze on the back of her neck. She knew that Vivian wouldn’t be annoyed if she got abandoned for this hottie, or at least, not too annoyed.

“Good,” he said, “I just saw you two pretty ladies sitting over here and I knew I would have to introduce myself.”

“Well I’m glad you did,” Wendy said sincerely.

“Me too,” he said. “Can I buy you a drink?”

“I have barely touched mine,” Vivian said, though it wasn’t that obvious that he was talking to Vivian anyway.

“Sure,” said Wendy. “I could use a refresher.” She almost rolled her eyes at her own word choice. He signaled the bartender who came over quickly. “Are you a regular here?” she asked him.

“Regular enough,” he said. The bartender is a friend of mine.”

“Cool,” Wendy said. She couldn’t think of anything else to say.

He nodded, thanked the bartender for bringing the drink over and then focused his attention back on Wendy. “What do you do, Wendy?”

“Me?”

“Yeah, you.” Wendy wasn’t used to someone taking such an interest in her so quickly.

“Well, I’m a writer.”

“That’s awesome,” he said. She noticed that again, he didn’t provide any information about his own profession. Was he doing that on purpose?

“Yeah, I like it.”

“Good, that’s important.” What was he trying to do? Make small talk? Get her interested? Wendy spent a lot of time letting guys pick her up in bars but she wasn’t entirely sure what this guy had in mind. He seemed like he was interested, but he also seemed like he wasn’t. It was quite the paradox. Maybe she should ask him to dance or something, she thought. But why hadn’t he?

Before she could finish musing about why he hadn’t asked her dance, he did. “Would you mind if I asked your friend to dance?” He directed the question to… Vivian. Whew! Wendy was relieved.

“Go for it,” she said with a smile. Wendy tried to read if it was a genuine smile or not. She honestly wasn’t totally sure, but she wasn’t about to contradict her friend.

“Thanks,” he said. “Would you care to dance?” he addressed Wendy this time.

“Sure,” she said.

“Great,” he said and he led her into the other room where the DJ was. She almost wanted to stay near the bar with Vivian but that wouldn’t make any sense since the DJ was in the next room over. The dance floor was pretty crowded but they had enough space to move. They were standing at least a foot apart at first but then he moved in closer to her. He was right up in her personal space but she realized he smelled nice and he wasn’t making her feel uncomfortable at all. When he placed a hand on her hip, a ripple of desire rushed over her skin. She desperately wanted to feel his body against hers and not with clothes in the way. Could she suggest that this quickly? She liked picking up guys but she didn’t think she had the nerve. Something about this guy was throwing her off. Maybe it was that he was so gorgeous, she couldn’t think straight.

The song ended and rolled right into another one. She looked to see if he was ready to move off the dance floor but instead, he moved closer to her. Or rather, he pulled her closer to him. They were practically grinding now, moving their hips in time with the music. The song was slow enough that they could move together and she found herself lost in his warm body.

“What would you say if I wanted to take you in the back and fuck you right here?” he asked.

“What?!” she asked, unsure of whether she heard correctly or not.

“What would you say if I wanted to take you in the back for tour?” he said and she knew that she had heard him right the first time. She guessed he was trying to play it off like he hadn’t just asked that question.

“Um,” she said. She didn’t know how to respond. Did she want to go in the back and fuck him? Hell yeah! But in reality, was that really a wise thing?

“Maybe,” she said with a wink. There, let him figure out what that meant. Inside she grinned at her own cunning.

He laughed and his laugh was deep and warm. The sound washed over her like a warm blanket. He pulled her to him and he kissed her then and the whole world spun around her. They were standing still on the dance floor, or as still as the jostling crowd would allow. Their tongues tangled in her mouth. His hands wrapped around her waist. Her hands moved slowly up his back, holding their bodies together.

When their kiss ended, she looked up at him in stunned silence. How could they follow that amazing kiss? Was it that amazing for him, even? He loosened his grip on her and moved slightly to the music. He seemed almost a little bit off kilter, but not as much as she was.

“Want to go back to the bar?” he said in her ear. She nodded and he wrapped one arm around her waist and guided her off the dance floor and into the other room.

She resumed her bar stool next to Vivian when he let her go near the bar. “Hi,” Vivian said, “I wasn’t sure you’d be coming back,” she winked.

“Of course I came back,” Wendy said. “I wouldn’t just leave you here like that.”

Wendy knew that the guy was listening to her every word. The guy, wait, what was his name again?

“I know,” Vivian said. “If you disappeared without saying goodbye, I’d have to go looking for you.” Wendy laughed almost uncomfortably. She knew that she had been pretty close to doing just that and she felt like an awful friend. It wasn’t meant that way, she just had been really caught up in the moment.

“I’m glad you’re such a good friend, Viv,” Wendy said, placing one hand on her friend’s arm.

Vivian reached around and gave her a hug. “Why don’t you and the hunk over there get out of here. It’s obvious he wants you badly.”

Wendy pulled back and looked at her friend. Was she serious? Her expression said she was. “Are you sure?”

“I’m sure,” Vivian remarked.

“You’re just trying to get out of sharing all the juicy details about your sexcapades with me,” Wendy teased.

“No,” Vivian denied the accusation, but both women knew that it was at least partially true.

“You aren’t off the hook, you know,” Wendy said.

“I know,” Vivian said. “I’ll fill you in later. I promise.”

“Good,” Wendy said. “I can’t wait to hear, but first I um…” she cocked her head in the guy’s direction with a grin.

“Yeah, you have an extensive to-do list to get done first,” Vivian teased.

“There’s just one thing on that list at the moment,” Wendy winked. She was talking quietly and trying not to let the guy overhear her. Damn, what was his name? Had he even told her?

“Okay, well I’m going to take off,” Vivian said, leaning back away from her friend. “You two have fun. Call me tomorrow, Wendy.”

“Will do,” Wendy called back. She watched her friend leave the bar and then she sat looking at the mystery guy who was her new friend. Or new something. “Hi,” she said.

“Hi,” he said, even though they had already said hello.

“Remind me, what was your name again?” Wendy asked.

“I never told you my name,” he said and he grinned down at her before covering her mouth with his in another earth shattering kiss.
